Last day for MARCH 2009

Sooooo FAST!!!

Started my March with my final semester for Diploma...well just a 7 weeks semester...tat means yet 3 weeks to go~~~~what a boring semester...

as u guys noticed here...i m free till i can crave for my favorite food recipes from the net and make it...

felt that i m so useless in these few weeks as i failed to achieve what i had planned

everything not going smoothly and become messy

tats all for my MARCH!!!!!!

Popiah

I like popiah very much..including the fried popiah...i can finished 3-5 popiahS at ONCE:D

I wish to learn and make it myself long long ago instead of buying from outside since i like it soo much...expecially the fried popiah...because of too oily ...till today...I MADE IT !!!

I will not manage to make it at home...i mean my home sweet home...because whenever i suggested something to cook or do...my mum will said "don't do la...buy from outside can ad...EnG gok Hoh Ciak"....LOl...haha...tis is my mum...haha..she doesn't like to cook much actually ....

I bought the ingredients n stuffs needed from Carefour yesterday...because i was there to do some groceries shopping ^_^

EARTH HOUR

talked about this....i did switched off all the lights because nobody at home today....
i was planning to switch off my PC also..but then i failed:-p
i didn't plan to go anywhere else during that time and i planned to have a sleep:-p
haha...but i felt i can't sleep that time....8.30 pm~~~haha
so after watching the live countdown for Earth Hour on 8tv...i switched off all the lights
and my PC remain ON...watching drama series

just a short note for the Earth Hour '09

heres the recipe for Apom Balik...haha

From Lily's Wai Sek Hong Blog

Ingredients:

170 gm all purpose flour (tepung gandum)
100 gm rice flour (tepung beras)
30 gm cornstarch (tepung jagung)
2 tsp double action baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
6 - 7 ozs water
150 gm fine granulated sugar

Filling:

120 g melted butter
150 gm fine granulated sugar
1 cup chopped roasted peanuts

Method :
Mix all the ingredients together, strain and leave in the fridge for at least 3 hours. (i left it overnight)

Heat a crepe pan or a small nonstick pan slightly. (just hot enough for batter to stick to pan)

Pour in a 4 oz laddle of batter and swirl pan so that batter is coating the edge. Remove the excess batter and sprinkle in some sugar on the pancake.

Cook till the bottom of pancake is golden brown.

Sprinkle with melted butter and then chopped roasted peanuts.

Fold the pancake into a half and leave to cool.(it will be crispy as soon as it gets cold)

I didn't measure the actual volume for the flour and others because i din have the "tools"...i just agak agak only...haha...

Apam Balik DINNER

here comes my Ap@m B@liK :-p

maybe some of you called Apung Balik...as what i called....haha...i don't know..cause when i was searching for the recipe...it appears to be Apam Balik....

being too free at home~~~so i decided to cook something~~~this was my dinner for the night~~~

it turned out to be like this...haha...taste not bad:-p

why i choosed this??haha...because it was so easy leh....mixed all the flour together...plus the eggs and water...keep into the fridge for few hours....then take it out and pour the mixture into the frying pan....tats all....haha

although the "look" and colour doesn't appeared to be as nice as the apam balik that can get from pasar malam or anywhere....but the taste is good....maybe is because of the "fire volume" not balance enough and i don't know how to control :-p

Working as freelance at Matta Fair '09 three days ago~~~woohoo....tired...after a long rest from being a part-timer~~~~:D

Well...it wasn't that tired if compared to being a promoter standing and selling all over the day...because i am not the one who giving out the flier to the customers but just sitting there and explained the packages then calculated the prices for the packages needed for the customers...

Sometimes i do wanna walk out there and give out the flier instead of sitting there the whole day and explained again and again about the same things...Lol....

I am selling FIREFLY packages which included return flight ticket, accommodation, meals and tour... the places including Medan/Lake Toba, Phuket, Kohsamui, Pulau Redang, Pulau Perhentian, Lang Tengah and Pulau Langkawi....

The most popular will be PULAU REDANG....8 out of 10 customers were asking about pulau redang...LOl...haha...at the end of the 1st day i m going to vomit when i heard about Red@ang even i haven't been there before....haizz...i think this May won't be going there already...another reason is because the hotels and resorts for the period from end of April till June school holidays were already fully booked~~~~so for those who are plannning to go but not yet book the hotel...just plan for other places :-p

It was the 1st time for me at Matta Fair actually...planning to walk around but can't make it...too busy~~~we only able to have our lunch at 3.45pm (the earliest in the 3 days)...dinner is at 8pm++....and no break....

Did saw a lot different kind of customers...some were so cute ....asking some weird questions... haha....some very "cheong hei"..asking again n again but end up not signing up..:-p....and some we can see that their "pattern" is asking for "siok siok" only....WondeR~~~~ of course...some of them very steady n friendly enough...just asking the price for the date they wanna travel....then terus sign up already...SIOKnya~~~~haah....

For those packages which very "cheap" till u can't believe....better ask properly....there must be some conditions...like surcharge on specific dates or weekends, taxes and etc.....as "mou gam dai zek kap la choi gai tiu" :-p

LRT sucksssss

Actually the new semester started yesterday...as my timetable was so nice to me...haha...i only have the class from today onwards~~~~ahha...feel nice when meet up all the lovely coursemate ;-)

First ever lecture for the sem..2pm to 3.30pm....Tamadun Islam....one word ---> SIENZZZ !!!!
This made me recalled back our SEJARAH in secondary school...lol.....

After 1 and a half hours lecture...finally sleeping time ended..muahaha..

My group mate...Msss XiangLin asked me whether want to have a movie once the lecturer ended the talk...haha..this is not within my plan....(actually planning to do some groceries shopping at carefore to re-stock my food & snacks~~)...without any discussion...i answered OK...ON..Lets go!!....hahaha...to KLCC TGV Cinema~~

Soo....my first meal of the day....having regular PopCoRN Set in the CiNemA....watching Love Matters .....

A bit boring about the movie actually...2++ hours...haha....no comment...just watch ^_^

We were heading to the LRT station after the movie...not planning to have dinner there...but then...one of the frens who went earlier call us that ppl are not allowed to move into the train~~~~OMG....heard that the LRT station was stuck and crowded....so we decided to have dinner in KLCC loo....but what to eat thr???? at last ...we go A&W for our dinner.....

We dunno when the LRT will start on working...and my fren was told by her dad that LRT was not functioning probabbly caused by the heavy rain in KL today...some of the places flooded~~~

I was thinking...bloody hell...so "bar liar"....every time heavy rain also flood everywhere....income taxes know how to increase but dunno how to upgrade the LRT system and also drain system!!!!

For those who taking public transport ..especially LRT ...sure know that how was it working....sometimes we need to take about 40 minutes to reach KLCC which just need about 15 mins if the system was working normally.....the LRT will wait for more than 5 mins not moving at almost every station it pass by....sometimes the train even stop suddenly....haiizzz...

We leave A&W at 8++pm...heading to the station....below were the pictures taken~~~~




10 trains passed by...but we still can't get in!!!!!i think waiting for it about 30 minutes....many trains but every train was full of ppl inside..was from kelana jaya lane LRT...so ppl off from working at kelana jaya area and KL central..not more than 10 ppl able to get into...i think squezzed it the train for every door opened..lol...
